I’ve always loved planners.
Maybe a little too much — kind of like how I love a brand new notebook.
I tend to end up with multiple ones going at once.
(I do eventually fill them... but still.)
Planners are fun. They give me a sense of purpose and endless possibilities.
There’s something so hopeful about opening a fresh page and imagining what the days ahead might hold.
Over the years, I’ve tried many — some designed for business, some for home life, some for chasing big goals.
Each one carried its own sense of a new beginning.
But somewhere along the way, juggling different planners started to feel heavy instead of helpful.
I realized that while tools are meant to serve us, they can sometimes start to control us if we’re not careful.
I’m learning that different seasons call for different rhythms. That it’s okay to adjust. It’s okay to let go. It’s okay to simplify with purpose and grace.
Today, I’m settling into a way that feels lighter:
A Home Planner for family rhythms and household tasks.
A Business Planner for my Juice Plus journey.
A Daily Carry Planner for life’s appointments, reflections, and everyday beauty.
Three planners still — but each with a role. Each with breathing room. Each serving me, not overwhelming me.
If you’re feeling the weight of too many systems or expectations right now, maybe you need that same permission too:
To breathe.
To simplify.
To choose tools that serve your real, beautiful life.
Here’s to margin, momentum, and grace for the journey ahead.
P.S. Living life in the margins bonus post.
I usually send reflections every Thursday, but sometimes a little bonus story or encouragement will pop in midweek.
These won’t be long or overwhelming — just simple, real-life happenings shared along the way.
Learning to live well along with you!
